David Arn is set to release “Black Dog-The Photographer’s Tale”. The music video is a track from his forthcoming cd,Traveler Tales, fourteen first-person narratives from travelers on a common journey, each relating their story through song.
The video features Kimberly Bowie (the model and actress). The fashion photography is by Angela Holmyard (Ottawa) and the stunning nature photography is by David Swift (Philadelphia). In this video an aging baby boomer recalls a beautiful woman from a past magazine shoot.
The single was mastered at Abbey Road Studios by Alex Wharton (McCartney,Radiohead, Pixies) and features the work of guitarist, Toby Wilson. Tyra Juliette and Kerri Hardwick provide soulful backup vocals.
Just announced–David Arn’s Music Video “Not Amused” has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious New York Cinematography Awards. Congratulations to William Murray and Alice Teeple for their outstanding work about life in Trump’s America.

What a week!!! It was just announced that two music videos filmmaker William Murray produced of David’s songs have won top awards at the Spotlight Film Awards. Out of 100s of entries “Not Amused” won the Silver Award and “St. Paul’s Chimes” took the Bronze. The latter will be released later this year. It deals with abuse in the Catholic Church and stars Carly Erin O’Neil.
