We’re excited about the release of David’s first music video. Photos are from the shoot for “Ninety-nine in the Shade”. The song features David on baby grand piano accompanied by Charlie Austin of Grand Ole Opry fame and Smokin’ Joe Haines.
The video was shot and produced by Off The Wire Studios (Eric Hales and John McClurg), and features model, Victoria van Dorn, who appears courtesy of Splash Model Management. Thanks to the Venner estate for the great location.
Rob Ulsh has been engineering and mastering for over thirty-years. When he first heard the raw tracks for the song “Better Off Today” he asked “Who is that on guitar?” For the first time, he was hearing the licks from Raz Ben Ari (razbenari.com). “You can always tell,” Rob said, “the ones with true natural talent. It’s in their fingers”.
Charlie Austin did a great job on his fills and double stops on “Postmodern Days”. Of course, it doesn’t hurt when you have played the Grand Ole Opry over 200 times.
Here he is at Master Sound Studios in Virginia Beach working on “Even in a Town of Seven Churches”
Latest single “Even in a Town of Seven Churches” will be featured on The Electric Croude. Many thanks to NPR & George Maida for the support! Tune in tonight at midnight for the show… WCVE
Here is the press release
Award winning, Off the Wire Studios (Eric Hales and John McLurg) will produce a new video on David’s song “Two Trains”. The song is about the life of author Ernest Hemingway.
Interview with Melanie Thiel at WNTI 91.9 (shamelessly promoting the cd). BTW make certain to listen to Mornings with Melanie at WNTI-FM, 91.9, where Great Music Lives in Northern New Jersey and Northeast Pennsylvania. She does a great job.

At MasterSound Studios in Virginia Beach with mastering engineer Rob Ulsh. What a thrill to record with Charlie Austin, veteran of over 250 Grand Ole Opry performances. Charlie is featured on David’s Song “Andrea” from the Postmodern Days cd and also adds masterful touches on “Two Trains”.
